About SpoolNook
SpoolNook exists to answer one recurring, badly-served question: will this filament refill actually fit my reusable spool - and separately, will the assembled spool fit and operate in my specific feeder. Both questions come up constantly across Bambu Lab, SUNLU, eSUN, Polymaker, and Prusament products, and the answers depend on exact brand, model, and generation in a way that generic marketing copy rarely addresses.
What SpoolNook is
A compatibility checker and a small set of guides and articles, all built on one editable evidence dataset of spools, refills, feeders, sources, and the directional compatibility relationships between them. The same records power the checker and the written articles, so they can't quietly disagree with each other.
What SpoolNook is not
- Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing Bambu Lab, SUNLU, eSUN, Polymaker, Prusa Research/Prusament, or any other manufacturer named on this site.
- Not a lab - SpoolNook has not conducted its own physical fit testing. Every verdict traces to manufacturer documentation, independently published reviews/comparisons, or is explicitly marked as an unverified community report.
- Not complete - the dataset starts small on purpose and grows as evidence is found; gaps are listed rather than filled in with guesses.
How this site is run
SpoolNook is built and maintained by one person as an independent reference site. There's no editorial staff, and no manufacturer relationship influences what gets published or how a pairing is verdicted. See How We Verify for the evidence standard applied to every entry, and Privacy for what data the site collects.
